Kimya Mühendisi Haldun İşman Seramik A.Ş. was established in 1976 by Faruk İşman, one of the pioneers of the Turkish ceramics industry. The company, having collaborated with international brands like Villeroy & Boch, Ritzenhoff & Breker, Lutz etc. for tableware and giftware production, has now carried its competitive approach to vitrified sanitaryware, and thus created the smanni brand in 2012.
