A Brief History of Erkunt Tractor Ind. Inc.:

Erkunt Tractor Ind. Inc. was founded in 2003 as the first company in Turkey to design and manufacture its own tractors without the restrictions of being under the license of an international automotive company. The current Turkish tractor sector is a large arena, and comprises of approximately 60,000 yearly sales.

Since agriculture is a major source of national income, it comes as no surprise that over 30 different tractor brands compete against each other to hold their own. In such a demanding and rapidly growing market, Erkunt Tractor rose through the ranks to reach 3rd place in the Turkish tractor sector within only 6 years of beginning production.

The company has also been named among the top 100 companies in the country that invest most heavily in research and development. Erkunt Tractor has been exporting its tractors globally since 2007 under the ArmaTrac brand name.
